What started as a business investment turned out to be a life-changing experience. Muharrem Demirbas the current Director of Pinar Smallgoods Pty Ltd, came into the business as a silent partner in 2012, he was the last one of six partners. In under a year he ended up buying all other partners out, and starting afresh. He re-established the business and surely everything began to fall into place. Within a couple of months of completely taking over he had updated the production work systems to work more efficiently to produce the highest quality range of products. Being new to the kebab and smallgoods manufacturing business, he had to learn everything from scratch, whether it was what types of meat had to be used for which products to how to conduct inspections with SGS Australia. His broad work and life experiences assisted him being the business owner he is today. Since 2016, it has been a family run business with his daughter, Altun coming in to learn the trade. She has since become an expert in her area of smallgoods, packaging and thermoforming machinery.
